Let the sacred flame keep moving forward! Running all the way from Taitung to Hualien, the mountain-line and coast-line paths proceeded in parallel, ultimately converging as they headed north, with a total of 11 townships passing the sacred flame:
Mountain Line: Beinan Township, Yanping Township, Luye Township, Guanshan Township, Haiduan Township, Chishang Township;
Coast Line: Donghe Township, Chenggong Township, Changbin Township, all the way to Fengbin Township in Hualien.
Special thanks to the students of National Taitung University for joining the relay and lighting up the Sacred Flame route for Lanyu Township.

In the Taitung area, the mountain-line torch relay team was led by Adralriw Abaliusu, Deputy Minister of the CIP, and the coast-line torch relay team was led by Senior Executive Officer Li, Kang-Ning, completing the entire segment of the torch relay.
We thank the Sacred Flame team and all the township offices for their full commitment, ensuring that every torch handover successfully connected the relay to Hualien.
