2025 World Indigenous Traditional Games|Awards Ceremony – Day 3 An exciting conclusion

Approximately 1,100 athletes, representing 28 teams and 10 countries, came together to create a magnificent celebration for Indigenous Peoples around the world!

CIP Minister Ljaucu Zingrur emphasized that during the three-day event, he was touched by athletes from diverse linguistic and cultural backgrounds offering mutual encouragement, aside from their dedication to the games. He said, “For Indigenous Peoples, competition is mutual growth, not ranking; success is shared, not singular. Taiwan’s doors remain open to everyone, regardless of your island or ocean!”

The inaugural World Indigenous Traditional Games held in Taiwan were profoundly meaningful. We extend our highest regards to the Taiwanese teams and referees, and we offer our sincere thanks to the international teams for participating with such a cultural spirit. Your collective efforts showcased the beauty and strength of Indigenous culture to a global audience. Through these competitions, exhibitions, and exchanges, Indigenous communities grew closer, and their cultures shone through mutual understanding and sharing.✨✨
