🏆 Traditional Music And Dance 🏆
The 2025 World Indigenous Traditional Games features a total of ten competitive events and has invited 11 international teams from nine countries to participate alongside 17 teams from Taiwan, including 16 indigenous groups and plains indigenous groups. Starting today, we will introduce one culturally distinctive traditional sport each day.
Today’s featured event: Traditional music and dance. The diversity of indigenous cultures has fostered a rich history and art, and traditional music and dance is a cultural process recorded by the body itself. Through dance and song, indigenous teams from around the world will demonstrate how their culture is carried and renewed within the body’s movements, inviting the audience to feel the breath and rhythm of different cultures in motion.
Every dance step is the language of culture. Within the arena of the Games, these movements will transcend regional, linguistic, and cultural differences, forming an important bridge for mutual understanding and exchange. Through sports, we connect the world and dance toward the future together.
